Shoeis extensive experience in Motocross helmet design and manufacturing has led to the creation of a new standard in Motocross helmets, the VFX-W. The aggressive shell design allows for a lightweight Motocross helmet that offers incredible protection, form-fitting comfort, cooling ventilation and components that are easy to care for.

Four Shell Sizes
The VFX-Ws uniquely designed shell is available in four sizes to accommodate a more fine tuned fit. The shell is constructed with Shoeis own high performance AIM+ (Advanced Integrated Matrix Plus Multi-Fiber), a combination of fiberglass and organic fibers. The result is an ultra-lightweight and rigid yet elastic structure. The eyeport in particular has been increased to accommodate larger goggle sizes. For performance and a comfortable fit, the VFX-W has the bases covered.

Dual Impact Absorption Liner
The VFX-W utilizes a Dual-Layer EPS liner, designed to improve rider safety. It is comprised of two pieces exclusively to allow softer EPS closer to the riders head, and stiffer EPS backing it up closer to the helmets shell. The VFX-W also features an EPS liner in the chin bar.

3D Max-Dry Removable Liner System
The interior of the VFX-W is constructed with a comfortable, synthetic fiber material that absorbs moisture twice as fast as traditional nylon interiors, after which it gets exhausted by polymer in the center, keeping the fabrics surface cool. Cheek pads, center pad and chin strap are easily removed for cleaning, replacement and a fine-tuned fit. Shoei has introduced the EQRS (Emergency Quick Release System) consisting of a red tab located on the cheek pads so the helmet can be easily taken off by a non-rider in the event of an accident; just pull the tab down to quickly remove either cheek pad.
